Lead Implementer 

The PECB ISO 9001 Lead Implementer is a five-day training course that aims to help you develop the competence necessary to establish, implement, operate, maintain and continually improve a QMS. This training course aims to equip you with in-depth knowledge on ISO 9001 requirements, as well as the best practices and approaches used for the implementation and subsequent maintenance of a QMS. By attending this training course, you can help organizations utilize a structured and evidence-based approach for managing the quality of their products and services. Apart from this, you will also learn about the importance of customer focus and benefits of setting the foundations of an organizational culture which enables and supports quality.

Learning Objectives 

General Information 

• Certification and examination fees are included in the price of the training course.
• PECB will provide over 500 pages of instructional materials containing explanations, guidance and practical examples.
• An attestation of course completion worth 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued to participants who have attended the training course.
• In case of exam failure, the candidate can retake the exam once for free within 12 months following the initial exam date.
• Exam duration: 3 hours

Certification Details 

After successfully completing the exam, you can apply for the credentials shown on the table below. You will receive a certificate once you comply with all the requirements related to the selected credential. 

Examination Details 

The “PECB Certified ISO 9001 Lead Implementer” exam fully meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (ECP). It covers the following competency domains: 

1. Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of a quality management system
2. Domain 2: Initiation of a QMS implementation
3. Domain 3: Planning of a QMS implementation based on ISO 9001 
4. Domain 4: Implementation of a QMS based on ISO 9001
5. Domain 5: Monitoring and measurement of a QMS based on ISO 9001  
6. Domain 6: Continual improvement of a QMS based on ISO 9001
7. Domain 7: Preparation for a QMS certification audit  

Delivery Model 

We offer 4 different delivery models for its training courses. However, please note that not all courses are available in all delivery formats. The available delivery options for each specific course will be listed in the menu selection. PECB’s diverse learning delivery methods ensure accessibility, flexibility, and quality throughout the training and certification process.  

Here are the 4 types of delivery model: 

1. Self-Study: Self-paced learning with access to course materials. Best for those 
   with prior knowledge and no need for guided teaching.
2. E-Learning: Flexible, location independent  courses  via  pre-recorded  videos. Offers quizzes, additional reading and optional live Q&A sessions. 
3. Live Online - 5 participants package available only: Experience engaging, interactive training led by PECB Certified Trainers in a virtual classroom, accessible to all, including those with time constraints or travel limitations. 
4. Classroom: Engage in direct, interactive sessions with PECB Certified Trainers in a structured, face-to-face learning environment, ideal for hands-on knowledge application.
