Lead Auditor 

ISO 55001 Lead Auditor training enables you to develop the necessary expertise to perform an Asset Management System (AMS) audit by applying widely recognized audit principles, procedures and techniques. During this training course, you will acquire the knowledge and skills to plan and carry out internal and external audits in compliance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021-1 certification process.

• Understand the operation of an Asset Management System based on ISO 55001 and its principal processes
• Understand the goal, content and correlation between ISO 55001, ISO 55002 and other standards and regulatory frameworks
• Understand an auditor’s role in planning, leading and following-up on a management system audit in accordance with ISO 19011
• Interpret the requirements of ISO 55001 in the context of an AMS audit
• Acquire the competencies to plan an audit, lead an audit, draft reports and follow up on an audit in compliance with ISO 19011
• Strengthen personal skills necessary for an auditor to act with due professional care during an audit 

General Information 

• Certification and examination fees are included in the price of the training course
• Training material containing over 400 pages of information and practical examples will be distributed 
• An attestation of course completion worth 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued to the participants who have attended the training course.
• In case of exam failure, participants are allowed to retake the exam for free under certain conditions
• Exam duration: 3 hours

Certification Details 

After successfully completing the exam, you can apply for the credentials shown on the table below. You will receive a certificate once you comply with all the requirements related to the selected credential. 

Examination Details 

The “PECB Certified ISO 55001 Lead Auditor “exam completely meets the requirements of the PECB Examination and Certification Programme (ECP). The exam covers the following competency domains: 

1. Domain 1: Fundamental principles and concepts of an Asset Management System 
2. Domain 2: Asset Management System (AMS)  
3. Domain 3: Fundamental audit concepts and principles
4. Domain 4: Preparation of an ISO 55001 audit
5. Domain 5: Conducting an ISO 55001 audit  
6. Domain 6: Closing an ISO 55001 audit
7. Domain 7: Managing an internal ISO 55001 audit programme 

Delivery Model 

We offer 4 different delivery models for its training courses. However, please note that not all courses are available in all delivery formats. The available delivery options for each specific course will be listed in the menu selection. 1. Self-Study: Self-paced learning with access to course materials. Best for those 
   with prior knowledge and no need for guided teaching.
2. E-Learning: Flexible, location independent  courses  via  pre-recorded  videos. Offers quizzes, additional reading and optional live Q&A sessions. 
3. Live Online - 5 participants package available only: Experience engaging, interactive training led by PECB Certified Trainers in a virtual classroom, accessible to all, including those with time constraints or travel limitations. 
4. Classroom: Engage in direct, interactive sessions with PECB Certified Trainers in a structured, face-to-face learning environment, ideal for hands-on knowledge application.
